2021 – CMAS World Championship in Porto Santo (Portugal)
This was my photo for the category “Wide Angle”. It was awarded “Best Photo Overall” by the Media Jury.It’s an artistic photo showing the huge amount of fish being chased by big groupers on the wreck Corveta Pereira D’ Eça (Cordeca) near the Island of Porto Santo (Portugal) in the Atlantic Ocean.

2018 Dutch National Championship Underwaterphotography – 2nd place overall
Qualified again for the next World Championship Underwaterphotography. Very happy! It’s going to be my 4th World Championship in a row. This one will take place September 2019 in Tenerife – Spain. 2017 – CMAS World Championship in La Paz (Mexico)
This was my photo for the category “Fish portrait”. It’s a tiny (aprox. 3mm wide) colorful Blenny that I found on a dive site called Swanee Rock in the Sea of Cortez.

2016 Dutch National Championship Underwaterphotography – 2nd place overall
This result qualifies me for the next World Championship Underwaterphotography. It will take place November 2017 in La Paz Mexico and I’m really looking forward to it!

2015 CMAS Underwater Photography World Championship (15th) in Zeeland (Netherlands) – Gold medal

Winning the Open Dutch National Championship for the 3rd time was a milestone for me.
